Track Rules

All racers must be a minimum of 50” tall to race and a maximum of 7' tall and under 300 lbs to race.

Drivers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All racers must sign a release and waiver of liability form. (If under 18 please use the Junior waiver of liability form below).

All new riders will receive a mandatory briefing session on indoor kart racing safety and regulations. All racers must wear closed toe shoes and long hair must be pulled back into a ponytail. We will provide you with all the racing gear needed.
Please remember that indoor Karting is real racing and not an amusement ride. Accidents can happen if you do not follow the rules and pay attention to flags.

We cannot emphasize enough that indoor kart racing is a non-contact sport. We do not tolerate any bumping or blocking of go karts. If you are unable to pass a kart, there is no excuse for contact.

Racer’s Edge   has a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol and/or drug abuse. Anyone who appears to be under the influence will not be permitted to race.

Kart racing poses special risks to those with neck or back problems and heart conditions. Women who are pregnant and anyone who should not be in a stressful or physically demanding environment should consult their physician before driving. If you have any doubt, please check with your doctor before racing.

Flags

Here are the flags that you will see on the track. Since you cannot hear anyone talking to you as you are driving, the flags are the only way to communicate with you. Please note that the blue flag may have a red or a white stripe, but its meaning is the same.
